Position Overview:
Our partner school in Itasca, IL is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker (SSW) to join their Special Education team for the full school year. The ideal candidate will provide essential social-emotional support to K-12 students and work collaboratively with staff, students, and families.
Requirements:
? Masters Degree in Social Work (Required)
? Illinois PEL Type 73 Certificate for School Social Worker (Required)
? Active School Social Work License for Illinois (Required)
? LBS1 with School Social Worker Endorsement (Required)
Key Responsibilities:
? Assess students' social and emotional needs and develop intervention strategies.
? Provide direct support services, including counseling, crisis intervention, and case management.
? Serve as a liaison between the school and external agencies, ensuring students and families have access to community resources.
